Whilst there is no doubt that many magic moments may involve funds, whether that be nice dinners out or major holidays, we can also experience a life full of precious, wonderful magic moments that are free, if we take the time to notice and enjoy these everyday moments and actively create more of them.
Catch up with a close friend or family member
Make someone smile
Take time out – no phone, no tasks
If you have children – do something fun with them
If you have pets – spend quality time with them
Go for a walk
Visit the beach
Have a long shower or bath
Take an afternoon nap or go to bed early
Listen to music
Spend time looking at the sky – by day and by night
Share your dreams with someone you trust
Do something spontaneous
Plan a lovely surprise for someone
Life really is the sum of lots of days which are made up of lots of moments.
It can be easy to take for granted sometimes a lot of the great things that may be already be in our lives, like; people who love us, good health, somewhere safe and warm to live, clothes to wear and clean water.
Whilst I love all kinds of magic moments and hope to experience a lot more incredible adventures and experiences, I know that ultimately nothing will be more important or more special than giving and receiving love, having my life touched by the kindness of others and doing anything I can to have a positive impact on the world around me.
